Friday Night Tired

Went downtown after work today to get my hair cut (for which I was at least two weeks overdue, oh the horror). I've been going to this hairdresser for several years now, she's worth the 45 minute commute each way there and back but man, it's hard to do on a Friday night after a busy week. I was dozing off on the trip downtown while reading "Eat Pray Love", which I am enjoying but it wasn't enough to keep me awake. (Did you know there is a blog devoted to photos of people sleeping on the subway? Check it out here.) Headed to the Eaton Centre afterwards to run a few errands but didn't have the energy to do much once I got there except have some dinner in the new food court, which was crowded and rather too trendy to be comfortable if you ask me but it might just have been my tiredness because it was full of people who seemed to be enjoying themselves.  The ride home was alarming due to the number of people sneezing around me in the subway car.  I thought one woman was going to cough up a lung, she sounded really unhealthy.  Everyone that stood in one particular doorway waiting for the train to pull into the next station sneezed several times while standing there.  Needless to say, I exited using a different door!  Just got home and I am so tired, I can hardly see straight and I have a headache on top of that.  Time for bed, me thinks, an early night will no doubt fix everything and I'll be right as rain in the morning.

look at you and your sex and the city subway riding lifestyle. eating in trendy foodcourts and making eyes with cute fellows on the train. oh you didn't say it, but i know that's what you were doing. in between cat naps.
