Cat Dancing

Joy and Yonhee seem to becoming friends.  At least, I think that's how you would explain it.  I'm not entirely sure, since I'm not a cat and may be placing the wrong interpretation on their activities. But their behaviour seems to suggest they are friendlier than they used to be.  Joy has begun to groom Yonhee every so often.  Sometimes now Yonhee even runs to her and rubs her head under her chin, which seems to be a signal to being the grooming. 

She'll tolerate it for a while but these sessions don't usually last long and often involve Joy having to put her paw on Yonhee's head or body to keep her in position.  Eventually it just becomes a rough and tumble session that sometimes ends up looking like ballroom dancing.

There are times when they break apart like fighters in the ring, each to their respective corners before they begin circling each other again, waiting for the right moment to make a move.

Or issue some kind of challenge - I can just imagine Joy saying here, "bring it on!"

Eventually, they part, uninjured but somewhat sheepishly, usually to find a place to nap, worn out from the experience. Until the next time one of them decides it's bath time for Yonhee.
