When we were kids, we used to visit my grandmother around Easter time and she always had us decorate Easter eggs. We'd dip them in dye, holding them carefully on those little wire circles. I always think of her at this time of year for that very reason.

These little blue flowers were in full bloom this past weekend in my mother's garden, always a sure sign of spring.
