Happy Mother's Day 2011

Wishing my mom and my aunt, pictured here on with my grandmother (my mom is the one on the left, in pigtails) and everyone else out there who has ever had or been a mom, a very happy Mother's Day!

I'm feeling bad for the momma cat I am fostering.  Two of her kittens (Nathaniel Butler and Tobias Bridge, the two grey boys I couldn't initially tell apart, until I realized this morning that one had a very spotted tummy and the other one was all white down his middle) went to their forever home yesterday, which is good news for them but a little sad for the rest of us.  I guess that's just how it goes when you're a cat, humans separating you from your kids when the time comes.  Katrina didn't seem to mind when her kittens moved on, hopefully Lady Killigrew won't be too upset either. Right now, she still has 3 kittens left to keep her company - the orange one, the all grey one and the female grey one.  I am hoping they will stick around just a little bit longer, for both our sakes.

They are so sweet! Love the little orange one, it is just like one my son had, he called him Buzz lightkitty ( instead of buzz lightyear from toy story, he was young at the time) and it was really light like this one.
