Rainbows and Kittens

Huge double rainbow outside my window early this evening (although it's pouring now as I write this).
The black squares are the pigeon netting!
It was so beautiful.

Each of the colours in the spectrum was so clearly defined in the main one.

Maggie liked it too.

The Belle family didn't notice the rainbow, they were too busy doing what kittens do best - eating, sleeping and playing.  Here is Belle Simone, doesn't she have the cutest little face??

Momma cat Belle Neige, she of the lovely blue eyes, patiently feeding Belle Matisse.  I haven't seen any of the others nurse with her since they arrived, I think they're getting to be done with that.

Prior to that, Matisse was resting after an energetic play time.

I imagine my darling Katrina looked just like Matisse when she was a little one.  At the moment, Katrina seems quite unperturbed that there are 5 new cats behind the guest room door.

Belle Neige is anxious to get out to see the rest of the apartment, though, they will probably meet tomorrow and we'll see how that goes!

Belle Cherie plays while Simone looks on.

This pair can most often be found tumbling about together.  They are perfectly matched in colouring!
Calliope seems more active today and purrs like a chainsaw.  She has the tiniest, cutest little face with very big eyes!

She takes 1/2 pill every 12 hours without fuss, wish all cats were like her in that way!  Here she is watching two of the other kittens play from a safe distance.

All we need now is a unicorn to make this day complete!
