Laurie and I started off with an early lunch at Tim Horton's before class. Had to make sure she had a chance to try their coffee while she was in town. Another Canadian institution crossed off the list. (Tomorrow, Niagara Falls!)
Today's class was called "Free Your Creativity". We each made a unique canvas featuring a gessoed background that was then coloured with Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Chalkboard sprays and embellished with brass findings, stamps, gauze, Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze and a vintage black and white photo.
Here's me with Barb Starace (she and her husband own Bizzy B and always make sure everyone is well looked after and, like yesterday when lunch was provided between classes, well fed - thank you, Barb and Tony!) and Nathalie:

This time around, we remembered to take a class photo afterwards:
During class, there was a torrential downpour, complete with thunderous sound effects
Sadly, not my Vespa! |
I wouldn't normally take a picture of rain but it seems like such a long time since we've had any! It has been so hot and dry here for weeks. You can almost hear the grass soaking up the water.
After class, six of us went to dinner at a nearby pub.
