Haiku My Heart Friday: Sunrise

As dawn is breaking
We gather on the sand to
Witness the sun's rise.
I've been getting up early enough to see the sunrise most mornings since I've been here on the beach in Florida, but I'm not the only one. Like pagan worshipers of old, we watch as the sun climbs out of the horizon and into the sky, celebrating the birth of a new day.

BEautiful way to begin a day, with the sun rising and warm sandy beaches (well I don't know how warm, but certainly warmer than snowy sunrises!)

Rising with the morning sun
certainly does spark a heart felt haiku. Enjoy your day.

You know the old Zen puzzler about the tree falling in the forest? Well, what about this: If there is no one to witness the sunrise, does it?
