If you happened to be looking east towards downtown Toronto this past Saturday evening just after 5 p.m., you might have seen this unusual cloud formation:
I'm not sure I've ever seen one quite like it before.
It almost looked like the white cliffs of Dover, England, which can be seen from quite a distance away when you are out in the middle of the English Channel. Or perhaps a very large glacier on the other side of a watery expanse.
Considering it had been a rather cold day out, with temperatures returning to the double digit windchills that have been all too frequent these past few months, seeing glaciers in the sky doesn't seem too inappropriate.
Ah spring, please hurry!
