Things Are Greening Up

I've been keeping an eye on the view, watching for signs of spring, but it wasn't until tonight, when the sun shone briefly during this early evening rain shower, that I really noticed how far along the foliage has come.  The grass is greening, you can see the weeping willow coming into its summer self and the rest of the trees are definitely starting to bud.  In the meantime, the evergreens are looking especially verdant.

Perhaps spring is closer than it seems!
