Haiku My Heart: Spring Blooms

Purple pansies and
lily of the valley bloom
happily in spring.

My boss brought these pretty blooms in to work from her garden. I just had to take a photo, they were so perfectly evocative of all that is special about spring.

Haiku My Heart Fridays is hosted by the dear Rebecca of recuerda_mi_corazon/.

Imagine how dreary this world would be without blossoms! ;)

I haven't seen--or smelled--a lily of the valley for years. I remember the fragrance: so sweet for so small a blossom!

Pansies are so sweet. How nice of your boss to do this.

pansies dipping in the wind head to the sun, spring joy, lily of the valley somehow bitter sweet to me, scent so strong it pushes the sences, almost over the top yet demure at once
