So well said. Such an amazing and inspiring man. I had an incident the other night with friends of mine from another ethnicity. The comment that one of them made about our "differences" so took me by surprise. I wasn't fast enough to say, that isn't it our similarities that bring us together at this table? Thank you for sharing this beautiful post with us.
Wonderful post Cynthia... I like to think that our haiku-friend Joe Spado and Nelson have a drink together - talking and sharing their experiences and thoughts. Their spirits will always be among us.
My first artistic addiction was beading and making jewellery, which I started doing in the summer of 2007. Since then, my artistic obsession has grown to include art journaling. Here in this blog, I write about my own and other people's creations and anything else that tweaks my fancy.
