Labour Day - the annual celebration of workers. I'm not a member of a union but I do work, so I am a worker. For us here in Canada, it's a statutory holiday across the country, whether or not you're actually employed, and it also signals the official end of summer, as the kids head back to school tomorrow. I can't believe it's September 1st already, how did that happen? And why do 3 day weekends seem to zoom by even faster than the regular 2 day ones? It's a mystery.
