Our Second Evening in Fabriano

On our first full day in Fabriano, we saw our second flower painting.  This one belonged to the blue team.

We didn't know whether to look at the painting on the floor or the ceiling above.

After spending most of the day at the museum, learning about making paper and then making our own, we had a walk about the town to have a look at that evening's Palio activities.

There were booths set up all over, with costumed townspeople demonstrating medieval job skills, such as the baker

the blacksmith

and the archer.

We had dinner in the green team's hospitality venue, overlooking the main square of the town, and were serenaded by wandering minstels while we ate.

It was a warm night in a medieval setting, what could be better?
