Printing Photos

I haven't printed out any photos for a while now and it seems my printer is feeling a little under the weather after a month or two of not being used.

I tried to print out a couple of photos this past week and here's how they turned out:

I really like the effect but it's not what I was going for.  Plus the ink is still wet and smudgeable, which won't do since I want to put the pictures in the Elvis journal I've been putting together.  I've sprayed these photos with matte fixative to seal the ink and save the image but since I had just under 50 photos I wanted to print to use in the journal, I ended up ordering prints online the other night and picked them up at the grocery store the other night.  Now, what to do about my printer??
